Biography
Dr. Abdul Qader Tahan possesses technical expertise spanning over 22 years in the field of international trade, polished by an academic path, including 15 years of experience in industrial development, investment management, and real estate asset development. He has held several leadership positions in both the public and private sectors and contributed to launching numerous initiatives that enhanced the presence and representation of Syrian products in global markets. Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Syrian-Turkish company "Handasiya" in 2005, and the Marsa Investment Group in 2012, which operates in "Syria, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates."

- Founder and Chairman of the Syrian Exporters BOARD 2026
- Deputy and Board Member in several associations and economic bodies that contributed to organizing the bloc of Syrian businessmen and industrialists outside Syria 2014-2024.
- Launching a training program that contributed to qualifying more than 500 Syrian industrial and service exporters 2014-2024.
- Leading the "Made in Syria" initiative 2005-2007, which contributed to enhancing the Syrian brand globally.
